Come see my show!

In February my studio puts on a show performed by the companies, usually I invite others to come see it with me, but this year I am actually in it. I am wondering if any of you would like to buy tickets for it. here is the information:
Pointe Counterpointe excerpts from Swan Lake and Firebird and other contemporary dance works.
Covey Center for the Arts-425 west center, provo ut.
Friday& Saturday February 6 and 7 @7:30
Saturday Matinee @2:00
Main Floor Center tickets are 12 dollars for adults
Main Floor Sides, Mezzanine, and Balcony are 10 dollars or 8. 50 each for children 12 and under or groups of 8 or more.
If you are buying with a check you can make it out to Covey Center for the Arts. The seats are reserved seats so the way it works is that you tell me in which area you would like to sit, and I mark it down, The lady in charge of tickets goes to the box office each Monday after we turn in money, and buys the tickets. She then gives them to us or leaves them there under will call if its requested. You can go online to coveycenter.org and reserve tickets as well, it will credit it to me if under remarks you put sold under Kellee Gardner, student of Academy of Ballet, or something similar, or you can call 852-7007, and tell them the same thing, but there is a 2 dollar surcharge. I need to sell 12 tickets, so let me know as soon as possible if you want to come! By the way its not just Ballet :D there are 5 jazz companies performing as well as the 2 ballet companies. its always a fun show. t

Good times at preschool

Last week It was my turn to teach pre-school.  We were learning about sign language.  It was a lot of fun, but really crazy with the kiddos.  I think it was because they hadn't seen each other for so long that they were really excited.  That and I had the giant beanbag in the living room and they thought it was the coolest thing ever!  I could have let them play on that the whole time and been fine.  I also attempted something I have never done before and that is make cookies with nine kids.  Wow now that's what I call an adventure!  It was actually a lot of fun, and the best part was seeing their chocolate covered fingers and faces with big smiles.

17 inches and counting...

Hi everyone. Yeah, it's me. Just thought I'd start checking in once in a while. Just to warn you though - it's not for nothing my old blog was titled "The Most Boring Blog in the World."

Last night when Jeremy and I got home from work, we took a yardstick out to the front yard and did a little measuring. Seventeen inches of snow! I'm getting pretty sick of it actually. A white Christmas was nice and all but now I'm taking my life into my hands every time I get in the car. What is it about snow that makes people drive like maniacs? A guy was trying to pass me while I was driving down 8th North in Orem and he did a graceful 180-degree slide across the road and into a snow bank. It was actually quite lovely. I doubt Michelle Kwan could have done any better. I got so sick of driving that once I got to Jeremy's office I told him we were spending the night there. We could sleep under his desk and it would be fabulous. He didn't go for it so we went home.

Today though there was this strange yellow light in the sky. It took me a few minutes to figure out what it was. The sun! Long time no see, stranger. Nice of you to join us.

So to recap the holidays: Christmas was on a Thursday, followed by New Year's Day a week later.
