Food Storage

Inspired by Stephanie and Heaths' example, I have begun acquiring food storage. Stephanie shared some of her resources with me this afternoon and I told her that I would blog about some of the things that I have found.
One website that a friend of mine told me about is called Deals to Meals. This site has a lot of great ideas for how to get and use your food storage. It also has some great links to other helpful sites. You can find it by searching either Deals to Meals or My Food Storage Deals. There is a blog and a business site.

Brilliant idea

Alisha I don't know how you found out about it but that is a fabulous celebration to add to the calandar!  So I thought we should all celebrate this day on March 29th and then everybody can post on the blog about their new traditional NYUGJD celebration.  Yeah, I can't wait!

Bored out of my skull

Hi everyone. I'm so bored. Jeremy left me today to go play Star Wars cards with some randoms up in SLC. I've been confined to my house this week and I'm bored. I thought I'd try something out that I learned on another friend's blog. You Google your name and then "needs" and you write down the first few hits that pop up. Here goes...

Devi needs employees who "make a difference."
Devi needs no introduction.
Devi needs to be more community based.
Devi needs to be put out of this show.
Devi needs to stand.

Jeremy needs a hug.
Jeremy needs anger management.
Jeremy needs to post more.
Jeremy needs help.
Jeremy needs a clan.

HA HA HA HA HA!!!

Happy Anniversary! With love from the Martian Death Flu

Jeremy took the day off of work on Tuesday so we could celebrate our 8th anniversary. I was going to do a short day at work and then we'd have lunch at Carrabba's. Well, the best laid plans of mice and men...

Tuesday morning at 8:45 am Jeremy dropped me off at work. I wasn't feeling very well but thought I could just work three hours and then go home and enjoy the rest of the day. Fifteen minutes at my desk staring like a zombie at the computer screen told me I should just go home. Jeremy picked me up and I collapsed on the couch and took my temperature - 102.7! Yeah, I should definitely be in bed. I spent all day watching TV and downing ibuprofen while Jeremy spent all day on the computer. Happy Anniversary to us.

So here it is, Thursday afternoon, and my temp is hovering somewhere around 100 degrees. I sound like a yak with emphysema when I try to talk and my nose is running like it's going out of style. Good times. I'm crossing my fingers so hard that Jeremy won't get this.

When I feel better we'll have a real anniversary celebration. Less Kleenex, more bruschetta.

P.S. I sincerely hope, Mike and Becca, that your anniversary went better!

National Use-Your-Glug-Jug Day

Get out your Glug Jug Folks as National Use-Your-Glug-Jug Day is right around the corner! That's right. National Use Your Glug Jug Day or NUYGJD is March 29th.

What's that? You say you don't have a Glug Jug? Not to worry, because you have options! What are your options, you ask?
#1 Find someone who does a have a jug; an excellent choice because as they say, the more the merrier. (hint: Stephanie has said jug)
#2 Order your own from Shreve, Crump & Low; another excellent choice because you'll be able to celebrate annually.
